Put this property on your short list for northern Black Hills stays!We booked this location for a wedding in Spearfish. The location, close to the interstate and an easy drive to Spearfish, Belle Fourche, Deadwood and Sturgis made it ideal for both attending festivities and doing some sightseeing in the northern Black Hills.The sandstone building is beautifully restored, keeping the spirit of the gold rush era. The amenities were perfect for our needs, and the welcome binder was comprehensive and a great resource for people new to the area. All bedrooms had ceiling fans to supplement the AC in the late summer heat. There were plenty of towels in all three bathrooms, as well as extras for the hot tub.The kitchen had everything needed, and the two dining tables would easily accommodate a large group.The only possible drawback was that this rental is on the second floor of a building with high ceilings, so the 21 steps to the interior entrance (my elderly father counted them but wasn’t deterred) could be a problem for those with mobility issues. There is a separate ground floor rental so that would be an alternative.

Brandi was amazing and the place was absolutely fantastic. Super small village but we loved that. And it’s nearby so many half or full day activities. Would highly recommend. And, if with a large group, you could rent both the lower and upper floors. So beautifully maintained….like a visit back in time with modern amenities. Well done Brandi!!

Overall, we had a very good experience during our stay. The property was clean and updated for the most part. There are areas that are rustic in nature and add to the experience. Our host was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had.
